If a classified employee feels he/she is working beyond the duties defined in the job description, the employee may request a review of his/her job description with the supervisor. If there is a discrepancy, the supervisor shall revise the job description to reflect the appropriate activities.
The revised job description shall be submitted to the Personnel Office for review by the Superintendent or designee. A determination shall be made as to whether the job description should include the additional duties. If it is determined the duties are appropriate and necessary, the revised job description shall be reviewed by the Job Analysis Committee for proper placement on the salary schedule.
The new job description and salary placement shall be presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.
