UNUSED VACATION PAY
When an employee is separated from service for any cause and has not been granted/used his/her vacation rights as provided in the rules and regulations of the Governing Board, he/she shall be entitled to payment for the unused portion of earned vacation on the basis of the ratio of the time worked to his/her full contract period.
Unused Vacation Time During School Year
Twelve (12) month employees may request their earned vacation leave during the school year, provided the absence will not interrupt the school program. Such leave must have prior approval of the Superintendent or his/her designee.
