The Smarter Balanced Assessments are new computer based tests that measure student knowledge of California's English language arts and mathematics standards. These new assessments replace the former paper-based, multiple-choice assessments for students in grades 3-8 and 11.
The first statewide administration of these assessments take place in spring 2015.
