CLASSIFIED PERSONNEL
INITIAL PLACEMENT ON CLASSIFIED SCHEDULE
Classified employees may receive up to five (5) years experience credit based upon the following formula. The service must be comparable in responsibilities and skills completed within the last ten (10) years.
12 - 23 months = 1 year
24 - 35 months = 2 years
36 - 59 months = 3 years
60 - 83 months = 4 years
84 months or more = 5 years
Experience credit will be granted using full-time equivalent only.
The employee is responsible for documentation to support the experience. Documentation will be letters of experience from former employer(s) verifying service in comparable responsibilities and skills.
Final determination of credit will be made by the Superintendent or designee.
