ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION
REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR PROPOSED NEW INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM
The criteria and process for a new instructional program must be followed in order to obtain approval to add a new course to the District list of approved courses.
When submitting the proposal for a new instructional program for a new course the following information must be included:

course title;
-
course number;
-
department;
-
prerequisite(s);
-
length of course;
-
semester period of credit;
-
grade level(s);
-
school sites using course;
-
course description;
-
rationale for adding the course;
-
objectives in performance terms, including measuring techniques
and correlation to the appropriate District standards;

outline of course;
-
specific teacher and student activity;
