INSTRUCTION
ALTERNATIVES FOR MEETING GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Schools of the Muroc Joint Unified School District are authorized to provide one or more of the following alternative means for students to meet graduation requirements when it has been determined that the student's individual needs can best be met by participation in one or more alternatives:

Site Supervised Independent Study (AR 6146.2.1)

Correspondence-Distance Learning Courses/Online (AR 6146.2.2)

Concurrent enrollment at an Accredited Collegiate Institution (AR 6146.2.3)

Regional Occupational Programs (BP/AR 6146.2.4)

Continuation Education (AR 6146.2.5)

Independent Study (AR 6146.2.6)

Alternative Physical Education Options (AR 6146.2.7)

High school courses completed in grades 7 & 8 (AR 6146.2.8)
The Superintendent or designee shall develop procedures to establish and monitor these alternative programs to ensure that they are in compliance with State and District requirements.
